9.22.08 Everglades Launches its New 320 Express

EVERGLADES LAUNCHES ITS NEW 320 EXPRESS, THE FIRST OF A COMPLETE LINE TO COME

Edgewater, Fla. – Everglades Boats, a leading manufacturer of premium offshore and inshore boats, will introduce their first true Express, the 320EX, at the following 2008 premier fall boat shows, Norwalk, Annapolis, Tobay In-Water and Ft. Lauderdale International.

“We are excited to deliver the company’s first Express style boat,” said Everglades president, Stephen Dougherty. “The 320EX is the first of a complete line of Express models to come. It’s built with the same commitment to innovation and quality we deliver in all of our luxury offshore and inshore boats.”

The 320EX boasts many new and exciting features including a bridge deck complete with tempered glass windshield forward and full tempered glass windows port and starboard. The bridge has a dedicated helm air system with a total of nine manually adjustable vents and a built-in defroster for the front windshield. Drop the aft curtain, open your cabin door and let the second dedicated a/c system help cool the entire bridge deck to a comfortable environment for afternoon or nighttime entertainment in those warmer climates. Don’t need the A/C? Then take advantage of the three electric window vents above the windshield for plenty of open air flow.

At the helm, a fully adjustable premium captain’s chair with footrest will delight even the saltiest of sea farers. The Captain controls all vessel systems from the touch screen, E-Plex digital switching system. A second touch panel in the cabin lets users control interior systems down below. Passenger seating on the lounge to port is the perfect height for comfortable cruises. And the full height windows, port and starboard, offer an obstruction-free view and provide complete weather protection for the entire helm deck.

Down below, 6-foot-4-inches of standing headroom in the main cabin, an enclosed head with wet shower, full galley with one burner stove, combination microwave/coffee maker and mid-cabin bunk are just waiting for that first overnight voyage. The cabin is elegantly finished with teak accents and modern interior fabrics.

Serious anglers appreciate the huge cockpit and, when docked, family and crew will appreciate the optional deck/fighting chairs. A bait-rigging station complete with cutting board, tackle storage and sink is conveniently located at the starboard side. To port another bank of drawers and cavernous storage hold your stores. Transom fish box and livewell handle your bait and your catch. Under gunwale storage, and large steps to port and starboard walkways, complete the cockpit. Also standard on the 320EX are twin Yamaha 350 V8 outboards with electronic controls and power steering

The 320EX offers owners more options and amenities for longer trips and overnight stays and can transform into a home away from home.

The 320EX is now available for purchase at Everglades dealers nationwide. Click here for more information and photos of the first Everglades Express.
