6.9.08 The New 2009 Everglades 243CC EVERGLADES BOATS LAUNCHES THE NEW 2009 243CC Edgewater, Fla. – Everglades Boats announced the launch of its 2009 Everglades 243cc, now available at all Everglades dealers. The latest edition of the best-selling 243cc builds upon everything that’s innovative about the previous model and adds features including an updated center console with a standard porta potty, fiberglass-lined interior and comfortable ergonomics at the helm. The console also incorporates the company’s renowned adjustable sliding windshield. The 2009 243cc offers many features standard that are typically only available as options from other manufacturers. “This year we wanted to bring something new and exciting to our most popular model, so we really focused on the 243’s center console,” said Stephen Dougherty, President of Everglades Boats. “I think everyone will be quite impressed by the new features that maximize comfort and performance.” The new hardtop on the 2009 version has overhead life jacket storage, red L.E.D lights, white spreader lights, built-in speakers and an electronics box. The new 243cc also has plenty of recessed storage areas, the Everglades’ signature built-in dual-use seats, and the Combo Leaning Post-Command Seat with swing-up footrest. For anglers, the boat features an aft 36-gallon livewell, a 75-gallon in-floor fish box, 22 rod holders and port and starboard tackle lockers. Like all Everglades boats, the 2009 243cc uses the patented RAMCAP construction process to create a virtually unsinkable offshore fishing boat for the safest experience on the water. |
